A more somber wave from the west, I had known the gentleman for some time and would bring him water. He had setup a small spot in the desert and was turning his life around. One day I walked up to find new occupants with a new story of how he had left, which I did not believe. About a month later he was found on the property, he had been murdered in the first degree by the same people. kindness is not weakness but how and when you use it may be seen as so, use it wisely in this world. I wish he had done the same and the world seems to take the best too soon.
A cross was placed as a memorial and reminder to something that isn't too uncommon.
